OFFICE CLOSURE DURING COVID-19
As we continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the health and safety of our policy holders and staff is our top priority. Based on recommendations from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) as well as the recommendations from the New York State Governor, SEFCU Insurance Agency has made the decision to temporarily close our offices located at 469 State Street, 3rdFloor, Schenectady and 297 Main Street, Schoharie beginning Friday, March 20th until further notice.
This temporary closure affects SEFCU Insurance Agency offices ONLY.
During this time of uncertainty, you can rest assured knowing that SEFCU Insurance Agency will continue to meet the needs of our customers. Agents are available by phone as well as email to service your policies, offer quotes, and answer any of your questions. We will not be staffing our offices or accepting premium payments in person.
Get to Know Sheila Cervera
Sheila has 23 years’ experience in the Insurance and Financial Industry. Her Consultative listening style and working with members to achieve their goals has helped her to successfully protect and transfer the assets of SEFCU members and their families.
Sheila has earned professionald esignations including LifeUnderwriter Training Certified Fellow (LUTCF), Certified Long-Term Care Specialist (CLTC), and Certified Estate Planner (CES). She has attended Executive Education Series held at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
Sheila has been on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association, the SUNY Cobleskill Foundation and Alumni Association, the Estate Planning Council of Eastern NY, and she was a member of Optimist International which is dedicated to bringing hope and positive vision to children.
In addition to SEFCU seminars, Sheila speaks at employee work events, employee assistance programs, community functions, and she has been invited to speak with the Alzheimer’s Association.
